Just the boost i need

I was working on one of my assignments today and as i am writing this i am actually taking a break from it just to write this post.

The questions are so confusing and sometimes can me a brain twister (ugh). As i was halfway through my assignment I felt like just crawling to bed to sleep but knowing my conscious superego is telling me its not right and thus started to feel guilty about it (sigh). So happen i was chatting with my long-time friend and telling her that I am stuck in between sleeping but fighting to (hopefully) finish the assignment.

She just told me "Fight It, You can do it".

Little did I know, I had the motivation to tell myself to AT LEAST finish 95% of it. A little boost with the right words can make you push through your limits even if it is just a simple sentence. :)

Thank You Ee Vonn!

All Time Favourites

Oh nothing, just  a few of my latest cravings...

Cupcakes!!!! They are my ultimate guilty pleasure!! These cupcakes are from Wondermilk. Their cupcakes are quite pricey and its quite small but no doubt it is very very VERY delicious! I do love their Chocolate Orange cupcakes but i like the Vanilla flavour. Simple and you might say its and not worth it, but i love the simple taste of the cupcake.

Sushi oh Sushi, its like a monthly thing. XD I crave for these babies like every month. Why do they have to be so yummy and Sushi Zanmai is the place to go when i am in need of some sushi!

So fattening yet so tempting. Nasi Lemak, its a Malaysian delight and its one of my favourites especially the one with sotong sambal from Port Dickson.

If you didn't know, traditionally this is called "Mee Hoon Kueh", but it is known as "pan mee" nowadays. I have always been a Mee Hoon Kueh lover since i was young and I would only call it Mee Hoon Kueh only if it was hand made into flat pieces with the basic ingredients, not machine made with all sorts of funny stuff added. The one in the picture has prawns, i prefer mine without though.

The first time i ate this in Singapore, it was... indescribable. I so wanna have it again but its all the way in Singapore! Why Malaysia you no has Cinnamon Meltz?!! Well, makes sense to not have seeing how much we Malaysians eat. XD

As i am writing this post, i am drooling already! Hunggrrrryyyyyyyy!!! I'm a girl, who can eat and i surely do enjoy food very much! :D

The Beginning to an Ending

Say goodbye to KDU and say hello to Monash! Done with my Diploma and started with my degree just this week! Oh how fast the years went by. Not exactly done with KDU because i haven't been able to get my academic transcript and my certificate. *sob... Well why wait when you are able to move forward already right? :)

Pursuing a Bachelor in Communications in the Sunway Monash campus currently and may i say that first week of class has been fair to me. Met my first few lecturers and they are actually very nice. I am really looking forward to my life in Monash. Definitely a 360 degrees turn from my experience in Diploma as well as KDU. Learning new subjects and trying to digest new (challenging) information. People in Monash are not as nerdy as you think they are. True they are the studious type but not the typical portrayal of nerds in the Western countries.

Its just the first week and not much can be concluded here as i will be here for another 2 more years. I feel thank selecting Monash is a right choice and I am paying for money's worth here. Here's to me and my friends  as we have completed our Diploma and starting a new fight for our Degree! :)

26 Years Old and still counting

I dreamt about you few days ago.
It was a short one though.
I was never really good with remembering dreams unless it was something terrifying.
All I could remember was you getting onto this ambulance like car, you closed the door, and you said Goodbye. (Ironic...I know)
I started to cry as I saw the car going further and I felt as if I can really hear and feel myself crying.
I slowly came out from the state of dream; waking up with tears.
I couldn't stop crying because I know it is all true...that you are here, no more.

I have dreams of you which I myself do not understand the message of it despite it being a weird dream sometimes. However, i am glad that I was able to see you and sometimes talk to you in it as dreams are the only place that I can feel close to you and know that you are never that far away. So here's to you...

Happy 26th Birthday Gor.

"Words can't even come close to expressing how much we miss you."

With lots of Love,
June
